Claim Clock NDIS

An iPhone and iPad app that counts down the 90 days Australian NDIS participants have to claim each support, from the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Act 2013, s 45A.

Status: not yet on the App Store. This page will link to the Australian App Store once Apple approves the app.

The problem

From 1 December 2026, a claim for an NDIS support must be made within 90 days, starting on the day the support is provided (NDIS Act s 45A(5), as amended by Act No. 66, 2026, Schedule 2, item 89). Before then the limit is 2 years. Late claims are accepted only in exceptional circumstances (s 45A(6)). If you self-manage, 90 days goes quickly when receipts pile up.

What the app does

Without paying, you can track up to 5 supports still to claim at a time. The yearly subscription adds no limit, reminders 30, 15 and 5 days before each claim-by date, the receipt vault with an export of all receipts, and a claim-history PDF. Apple shows the price in the app before you subscribe.

How the dates are worked out

The support day counts as day 1 (Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s 36), so day 90 is the support date plus 89 days. A support on 1 December 2026 must be claimed by 28 February 2027. For a booking over several days, the count starts on the first day. If the date falls on a weekend, the app says so but keeps the date: claim a few days early.

If day 90 for a support falls before 1 December 2026, the app shows 30 November 2026 and marks it "Transition: unconfirmed". As at 23 October 2026, no rule says whether those supports keep the 2-year limit.

Every date comes from the law's own rule. None is estimated or generated.
